Course Reminders
Learn all about course reminders.
Reminders are set up to launch to learners when you set up an assignment.

Log into your administrator platform

Click on Assignments

Select New Assignment in the right hand corner

Click on the type of assignment you wish to send (Quick or automated)

Complete the form by adding:

Name
-
Learning activity
-
Learners
-
Invite and due date
-
-
Once you have added your criteria, click on “Show Advanced Settings”

Click on “Edit”
-
Select your reminder schedule and click Save
You can also send an instant reminder by:

Locating the assignment you wish to remind learners for
-
Expand the assignment box
-
Click on “Instant Reminder” in the bottom right-hand corner
This will send one email to any learner who has not completed the course.
Troubleshooting
Why is a user still receiving emails about old assignments?
There are a few reasons why a user would receive notifications regarding an assignment.

The user may have multiple courses assigned to them that they are not aware of.

The user may still have an incomplete course and may still have a few lessons or slides left to work through within their course to achieve 100% completion.

The user may have duplicate records within your account and may be receiving notifications for the courses assigned to those records.
I don't think my user is receiving emails, what can I do?
Although most notifications are received within an hour or two, larger batches of notifications can take up to 24 hours to be received. If it has been over 24 hours, please ask the user to check their spam or junk folders in their email inboxes to see if the email landed there.
You may need to work with your IT department to whitelist our email domains and IP addresses to ensure emails from our system are not flagged and/or blocked.
