Deactivate a Resource

Learn how to deactivate a resource in Foundry. 

There are two ways to deactivate an existing resource so that it will no longer appear to your learners. You can do so either from the Course Configurations page, or from the general Resources page.

From the Course Configurations page

  1. Go to Content > Content Library

  2. Search for the course the resource is in and click Configure on the card

  3. Find the module in which the resource is located. 

  4. Expand the module and scroll until you see the resource you want to edit. Click Deactivate (which appears below the Edit button).

  5. Click OK on the confirmation message that appears.

From the Resources page

  1. Go to Content > Resources
  2. Find the resource you want to remove on the Resources table. Click the "ban" icon in the Actions column to deactivate the resource.
  3. A confirmation message will appear listing all of the courses that the resource is used in. Review the list and then click OK to confirm the action.


Note: Global Resources cannot be edited, but can be removed.
