Deactivate a Single User
Learn how to deactivate a single user.
There may be times when you need to deactivate a user in your Foundry account. For instance, when an employee leaves the company, they should no longer have an active user record in Foundry. Deactivating a user will remove them from active user lists so that their information does not appear by default when you create assignments, but will retain their historical information for record keeping purposes. The steps below detail how to deactivate a user that is no longer with your organization.
-
Go to Users > Manage Users
-
Search for the individual user and click on their name in the user list to view the User Profile
-
In the top right corner, click More Actions and then select Deactivate User
-
Click Deactivate User on the confirmation message to confirm that you want to deactivate the user
-
Note:
- Deactivated users will not appear in your manage users list if your filters indicate “Only Active Users”
- Deactivating a user will not delete data from the Reporting section
