Edit an Invitation Template

Learn how to edit an invitation template.

  1. Go to Communications in the left navigation menu
  2. Find the template you want to edit and click the pencil icon.
  3. Enter a clear name for your template. Note: You can delete all pre-existing text and write a new name or edit the pre-existing name. This will only show to you and other admins at your organization, but learners will not see the name. You will have to select notifications based on this name when you assign training.
  4. Enter a subject line for emails sent using this template. Note: Text will already be in the subject line.
    • You can delete all pre-existing text in the subject line and write a new subject, or you can add text to the pre-existing text in the subject line
    • Note: Anything inside double curly brackets, like , is a pre-defined parameter. You can move it around or delete it, but don’t try to edit what’s inside. It will just turn out blank. This text uses markdown syntax, which is a way to create a rich text document using just plain text. For example, you can use *stars* to create italicized text.
  5. Edit the main body text. This should show in the preview at the bottom of the screen.
  6. Once you have name, subject, and body, click Save.
