Foundry Course Migration

Learn how to migrate your course(s) in Foundry.

When a new course is released or goes through an update, you may need to take some action to get your learners access to the latest content. This is not always necessary and the exact timing will vary by course and your specific subscription.  For individual course and account details, please reach out to your Customer Success team or contact Support.

Migrate to a New/Updated Course

New or updated course(s) are available to be assigned to your learners as soon as you see them in your account.  This date will vary by course and your specific subscription.

It is important to review all custom course migrations when a new course becomes available or a current course goes through a content update.  There may be new opportunities for you to create organization specific content for your learners.  In some cases, these configurations may even be required to comply with specific laws or regulations, so be sure to review configuration options before assigning your course.

Note: With new courses, you will need to add policies within your course configurations. In most cases, adding policies ensures that users have met compliance. If you have had a policy in the previous course version(s), you will need to add them into the new course version(s). Please see the Workplace Training Configuration Guide to learn how to set up your configurations.

If you are a SCORM user, you will need to follow the steps outlined in Creating and Downloading Your SCORM Package and reset your Retraining Schedule (SCORM).
