Course Description
New and experienced managers need access to digestible content that will help them create and lead effective teams at work. The leadership suite is a collection of short (8-10 minute) modules - that touch on a myriad of leadership topics. The goals for each of the modules are:
- Managing Conflict: Managing conflict at work covers the effects of unmanaged workplace conflicts and provides managers with strategies to handle and respond to conflicts in their workplace.
- Leading With Emotional Intelligence: Leading with emotional intelligence covers ways to improve, promote, and employ emotional intelligence skills in the workplace.
- Engaging Employees: Engaging employees introduce managers to the skills and tactics they need to identify, improve, and sustain employees’ engagement in today’s working environments.
- Conducting Meaningful Performance Conversations: Leading meaningful performance conversations provides ways for holding an effective performance conversation and helps managers prepare for performance conversations that support employees' development with actions and plans.
- Effective Interviewing: Instructs how to apply interview best practices
- Handling Terminations: Helps to develop critical skills and knowledge to handle employee terminations.
- Preparing to Hire: Explores the best practices in identifying great candidates for the organization.
