Preventing Harassment and Discrimination Seat Time Requirement.

Many states require a minimum amount of time on harassment prevention training.

EVERFI removes the burden of tracking seat time compliance by building dynamic seat time compliance into our Preventing Harassment & Discrimination in the Workplace Suite  of courses. Learners will not be able to complete the course until they have spent the requisite amount of time in the course, which can vary based on which state’s laws the employee is subject to. If a learner reaches the end of the course before the minimum time requirement has been reached, they will be directed to supplemental course content until they have met the requirement.

This functionality is dynamic, which means the built-in seat time requirement will automatically adjust to match mandates for that learner’s role (e.g. Supervisor) and location (e.g. California) as indicated in their user profile. As long as your users’ role and location information are kept up to date, you can rest assured that if a learner has completed the course, the minimum seat time requirements have been met.

For more granular reporting, you can see the actual time that each learner spent taking the course by viewing the Training Progress  report. Go to Insights > Training Progress and you will see the "Time Spent In Course" column on the far right.
