Reactivate Users

Learn how to reactivate users in Foundry.

There may be times when you need to deactivate a user that had previously been deactivated in Foundry, for instance, if an employee returns to the company after some time away, or if the user was deactivated in error. Reactivating a user will restore their existing user account as well as their historical information. The steps below detail how to reactivate an inactive user:

  1. Go to Users > Manage Users
  2. By default, the user table shows only Active users. Click See All Filters to modify the filters to show Deactivated users

  3. Scroll down to the User Status section, expand the section, and select the Deactivated checkbox, then click Apply Filters.

  4. Look for the user you want to reactivate, or use the search box to search for their record by name. Click the checkbox to the left of their name, then click Reactivate at the top of the table. Note that you can check multiple rows if there is more than one user that you want to reactivate.

Note: If the assignments aren't closed the progress will still be active and users will be able to pick up where they left off. Reminders will also start to go out again for incomplete assignments.
