Course Map

Module 1: What's a Code of Conduct? 

In this module, learners will be introduced to the code of conduct and its purpose. Learners will explore the code of ethical behaviors for the organization's success and the responsibilities of employers for no retaliation against employees or whistleblowers' who report misconduct. 

Module 2: Conflicts of Interest

In this module, learners will explore different types of conflicts of interest (COI) and the negative consequences that may impact them and their workplaces. Also, they will learn ways to avoid potential conflicts of interest that could put their employment at risk.  

Module 3: Protecting Organization Information

In this module, learners will explore ways to protect the company’s information including its data and financial books. Also, it covers how to maintain a company’s financial integrity and report any issues that may put the company at risk. 

Module 4: Exports and Imports Compliance 

This module provides learners with information about the import and export process and compliance principles. Learners will explore some common red flags when organizing exports, how to avoid them, and their reporting responsibilities. 

Module 5: Bribery and Corruption

In this module, learners will explore the meaning of corruption and bribery terms, how they manifest at work, and ways they can recognize and prevent corruption and bribery.  They will also learn how to identify situations where corruption or bribery may occur including while working with government officials, and how to act in response.   

Module 6: Gift Meals and Entertainment

In this module, learners will explore when exchanging gifts, and entertainment in business or for clients or prospects can considered a risk for bribery or conflict of interest. It also will cover ways to avoid the risk of bribery or conflict of interest and the reporting process of any suspected act.  

Module 7: Money Laundering 

In this module, learners will explore different types of money laundering and learn ways to avoid any potential money laundering practices. 

Module 8: Competition and Antitrust

In this module, learners will explore the antitrust legal practices that protect competition and prohibit anti-competitive conduct. It will cover fair competition practices, signs of illegal conduct, and provide learners with a reporting process.  

Module 9: Insider Training

In this module, learners will explore the concept of insider trading and the consequences of insider trading. It also provides learners with information about different types of insider trading, and ways to avoid, prevent and report insider trading.
