Course Description

This course covers high-risk situations and teaches your employees how to successfully identify possible violations of anti-corruption laws. It presents real-life scenarios, case studies, job-specific compliance tips, and comprehension checks on how to comply with bribery laws. Explores foundational concepts in corruption and then focuses on anti-bribery laws and policies with international reach, such as the FCPA, UK Bribery Act, and UN and OECD.

Course Syllabus

Module 1: Introduction
This module is a high level overview of the effects corruption and bribery has on the workplace. It iterates the personal responsibility each employee has to help protect themselves and the company from corruption and bribery, and has the opportunity for 3 custom moments.

Module 2: Anti-Corruption
In this module, the learner will explore the definition of corruption in more depth. They will identify different types of corruption, and navigate specific scenarios to interpret how to respond to the discovery of corruption.

Module 3: Anti-Bribery
In this module, the learner will explore the definition of bribery in more depth. They will analyze the nuances of bribery, and identify common scenarios that qualify of bribery through interactive scenarios. They will also explore the penalties of bribery (both in the United States and abroad), and learn how to implement tactics to prevent bribery.

Module 4: Third Parties
In this module, the learner will explore the role of third party organizations, including the risks of bringing them on, and what red flags in their behavior to look out for when identifying issues. They will also learn how to implement tactics to prevent corruption and bribery problems with third parties. There is one opportunity to present the learner with a custom policy for their signature.

Module 5: Reporting Your Concerns
In this module, the learner will explore the responsibility they have as an employee to uphold and maintain the established ethics of their workplace – including reporting concerns regarding potential corruption and bribery.

Module 6: Final Thoughts
This module finalizes the course and provides the opportunity for three additional organization-specific policies and resources for review and further exploration.
